Make a space for/access to critical literatures for community resources and also to contribute to - a running, open, multi-genre/interdisciplinary database.
To compile and critically reflect on existing guides for journal editors to ensure citational justice.
To create our own guide for citational justice practices.
Inclusive Pedagogy
To promote inclusive curricula including decolonial, anti-racist, and Black perspectives, together with intersectional approaches to anti-oppression of use for those teaching anthropology of policy and related courses.
To contribute to authentic reflexive teaching and learning spaces that include moments and contradictions of anti-racist curricula as processes.
Representations, Recruitment, Retention
To analyze, address and remedy the under-representation of people from communities facing racism within ASAP (and beyond)
Mentoring and Support
To create a welcoming and supportive space for BIPOC graduate students and early career scholars, offering appropriate mentoring and advice on any and all aspects of their careers within anthropology
Alliances to Outreach
To build non-exploitative alliances on anti-racism inside and outside of academia
